BODACIOUS Ta-Ta

(.)(.)

Ha ha~Made you look!

I am not fond of the media or it's constant barrage of 'skinny' chicks being perceived by the masses as more socially and aesthetically valuable. Women are valuable and pleasing to the eyes, no matter what their size or shape. Curves define a women, some are more plentiful than others--but sexy is not a size, but a state of mind. Just like 'grace' and 'style' are attributes that cannot be purchased or given out. They are either there or they are not. This goes for all women, large and small. You either are sexy, or you are anything but.

Not to mention that everyone has their own definitions of what sexy entails...(Fetish much?!)

My art history classes were never filled by anorexic, silicon enhanced, "fake and bake", barely legal 'girls'. They were filled with all sizes and shapes--especially the voluptuous ones. Skin and bone was something that was destined to be a peasant's ill-fated lot. Why did deprivation and scarcity of basic needs and desires become so chic? (I know, but I'm not telling in this blog post!)

I am waging a personal war against this, by only purchasing magazines that feature 'real' women. Of ALL REAL sizes!

No size zeroes--that in arithmetic class added up to Nothing. Absolutely NOTHING--It is a VOID--so why aspire to 'fit' that descriptor? I would rather be of substance, than unsubstantial.

I am a fan of a periodical that is a sort of Play boy for BBW's. All I can say is...

HOORAY! It's about time!

What are your feelings about BBW's vs. the prefab 99 lb. models, within the adult industry?

Is it a losing battle (punny!) or is it something that we should all support and really look inwards at out own self perception and of the media's marketing influences upon us?

All I know is that I don't like anything generic.

And I see a lot of that these days posing as sexy.

Choose wisely--think with your heart and feel with your mind.
You might surprise yourself!
Kisses

I am also waiting for more REAL women to show up on the runways...But until the corporate machine gets with reality--I think they'll still try and get the 'wiry clothes hangers', to walk the plank--err--runway.

Petite to large. A woman's body is an absolute work of art. Sexy is an attitude that can not be defined by the vessel it is in.

Men, on the other hand, look ridiculous naked... or maybe its just this man?

JOHNNYCANUCK66, YOU naked?

Mmmmmmmmm--I mean, Hmmmmmmmmmmm...

We'll leave that particular judgment call for the ladies to decide!
I highly doubt from that sexy face of yours that your body wouldn't be 'smokin' hot', too!
("Ridiculous" You say?! Do you have something that shouldn't anatomically be there? An extra limb, nipple--conjoined twin--Sideshow Bob---WHATEVER could it be?!!)

So, please send us all ALL pics to drool over--err--I mean take a peek at so we may come up with our own personal assessments of that gift of physiological wonder...I mean--your naked body, JOHNNY!

("Ridicule" is the root word for ridiculous...You may "taunt me a second time"! I love teasing you already, JOHNNY! Stick around the party is just beginning--heh heh!)

Getting back to the post--Ahem--I agree there all sizes of sexy, but only one type seems to predominate the societal/marketing propaganda machine.

When did size 10/12 become a PLUS size--just because it is a two digit number--that's a BAD thing? (I like my big hips--as the song goes--"You CAN'T take That away from ME!")

Most REAL guys will tell you that "banging a bag of bones" or "the teenager next door" isn't quite as lusty and fulfilling as a woman with curves/flesh. "More cushion...for the pushin'"--as the cliche goes.

I understand that some men do have their OWN personal sexual fantasies/preferences and perhaps even (peer)conquest/competitive issues regarding the genetically enhanced Anorexic/Bulimic Barbie-types. And the teenager next door, well that just brings up Daddy issues that I am not going to touch in this particular blog--not to mention the serious legal ramifications involved...

No group of women should be left out to feel inadequate, chastised or devalued. No one should be meant to feel shame.
Skinny, fat or average.
(The "body-mind connection" is another topic I will post about at another time). Although I am not a consumer of DOVE products, I do support their ad campaigns showing "REAL BEAUTIES" of all ages and sizes.

Another myth I would like to shatter is the one that Big girls MUST eat too much. They MUST be compulsive over-eaters and they must have some emotional or psychological issues that need cognitive therapy for. (I've seen some small gals pack it away, where it all goes, remains to be seen--but bulimia could play a factor--in SOME!).

Not all BBW's "eat" too much. When I finally was diagnosed with a Hypothyroid condition (in my thirties?!What took so long?!), things FINALLY made some sense to me...Even with medication, I cannot eat more that 1600-1700 calories (EVER)--a day, for I will begin to gain weight. Plus I am a vegetarian--so I can only hope to be shattering some of the misconceptions of "FAT-Gals".
Well, enough of my ranting for the moment (Sing with me...'It's my posting and I'll rant if I want to...)

And Johnny, I do expect those pictures in my mailbox by noon tomorrow.
Deadlines, deadlines...
Kisses and Hugs,

It's simple really, this media driven obsession about how women look.

You see as long as we are trained to worry about nothing but how we look, we won't be concerned about worrying about anything else.

If women are conditioned to think that the biggest asset we have is how our bodies look, as opposed to how our minds work and putting that too good use, then we will never continue to move forward.

The really sick part is how many women buy it and I might add how many men have bought into it as well, equal blame to go around.

Men are being conditioned with this just as much as women are except it's more effective on men in a shorter period of time for various reasons, chief among them being the whole visual aspect the poor bastards deal with.

I see this displayed daily where I work. I see the barbie's prance around the office thinking that how they look matter's as opposed to what they are doing.

I also see many women who don't worry about having the "in" hairstyle, or the "correct" look. You know, the whole "must look like a porn star ready to bend over" while strolling through the building.

We as women are just as much to blame for this as the men are who try to make us think, this is what is important.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to look your best, hell if there was I would have to turn in my lipstick. There is however something very twisted about placing how you look above anything else that you may have the ability to accomplish or allowing anyone to judge your value based soley on how you look.

As for the women in the office who spend their time counting calories of celery because if they don't look like the cover a fashion magazine the world just may come to and end....

Well they can do that, and meanwhile I'll move into the corner office because while they where doing that, I was making damn sure that I just made the company a shit pile of money.

Funny thing about men, once you let them know that you don't play the game of beauty over substance most of them ignore it in favor of what of you are saying. As for the few who don't, let them play with the Barbie's, at least I won't have to listen to them. It's how I as a woman handle that attitude from some men. I could sit there and let them dismiss me because I'm not a size "0" or I can present the attitude of "fuck you asshole I'm not a size "0" but I just kicked your ass in that last meeting with my idea"

Good to see you Sultry! (She's Back!!!)

Celery is wonderful, when you want to eat it--NOT because it's the staple Low-Cal fare of the new trendy Cosmo Diet.

(And on the other hand--Chocolate is NOT it's own food group, however much we may want it to be!)

But I agree...
Substance over insubstantial, wins every time.

I compare it to the sheep analogy or even the media pressure of~
"Why be you, when you can be ME?!"

I 'd also rather be part of the board room discussion with something valuable to include, instead of twirling my hair around, being "bored" in a room.

Looking and feeling fantastic is a personal choice, on one's OWN terms.

Don't get rid of that Lipstick if it makes you feel good--However, if you are being coerced to purchase a lipstick in the new trendy color palette of brightest Magenta--You may want to rethink that trip down the Cosmetics aisle. (Or end up looking like Ziggy Stardust on a very bad acid trip!). Each to their own I suppose (and if Day-Glo lips make you happy, expect some interesting stares!) but if you are buying on the supposed advice of a "beauty/fashion expert"

BEWARE...

They may have too may cocktails at that post-runway show gala and had their nose WAAAAYYYYYY up some eccentric designer's behind in behalf of their blind career ambitions.

I support taking care of oneself and I support looking and feeling great. Being healthy is something we should all strive for, the best that we can.

But not every adult female can possess the hip bone structure of a pre-pubescent male. (If so, our race our die out quite rapidly with that predominant breeding stock)

So now I am going to go and have some celery for lunch--
ONLY because I WANT to!
