Purple Power! I went to visit my daddy at the Nursing Home/Rehab Center where he has been since July when he broke his ankle, got 5 stents, and had an amputation of his lower leg. He was in good spirits and we had a great visit.  The Nurse came in to transfer him from his wheelchair to his bed at one point and he turned to me and said I was in for a treat to watch that take place........ OMG!  They were like 6 feet from his bed when they put him in the lift, then they raised him like 5-6 feet in the air and there he was, hanging in a sling all scrunched up and looking like a big, old, fat (sorry dad  ) baby waiting for the stork to come carry him to his destination!  I have not laughed that hard in a LONG time! I was laughing so hard I had to leave the room and compose myself.  Don't feel too bad for daddy, he got a chuckle too and paid me back by laughing at me for the 4 trips to the bathroom in just an hour and forty-five minutes I had to make due to my Lasix dose being doubled. OK, maybe not a return to my former "normal" life yet.......but it sure felt good to get a laugh so I will take it!  P.S. Purple got some G~O~O~D sex earlier. Hallelujah! and Amen! I am glad you have that relationship with your father. I miss mine so much. As for sex, I guess I have to choose between the right hand or the left hand today. LOL...  LOL......don't feel too bad, I have had sex exactly 5 times since August 31st! Pull My Fucking Hair!

This is the first post in awhile that Purp seemed like her 'regular' self; glad your dad is getting on beter, glad you're getting it on better! When's the video due out so I can get a copy? Your hubby sounds like he still has a fantastic sense of humor through all he has been through, thats great! I know that helps alot. The place where my dad is seems like a very good one. I used to work at 2 different nursing homes when I was younger and know how scary it can be leaving your loved ones there. My bestest best friend in prison is doing OK, he has had to deal with his father's death recently and then I have been too sick to visit. The last time I saw him was July. Of all the coincidences in the world my brother is in the SAME prison now. Wow! Pull My Fucking Hair!

I am happy he is doing better purp and glad you got a good laugh without it causing you pain. I do understand about the going pee all the time the blood pressure pills make me go like once an hour. I told John I felt like I was pregnant again. LOL Its good that he can laugh at himself it shows he is ready to take on anything. I am hopping for some great sex tomorrow night.
