Yep, I'm kissin' BUTT today .. Have you ever had something you felt lead to put here in blogland ? That happens to me sometimes. Today's post is one of those. I want to share part of something I was emailing my husband. An email inspired by a song. At times we all feel our marriage ,,relationships fall short. I know, I feel that way often.. I often tell my husband that I need him to show me his love and appreciation more often. He always answers I show you ever day that I do. Usually there are a few more words said then he will say I go to work everyday to show all of you.. I reply I need more than that.. I have had to learn that he is the kind of man of few words when it comes to love and emotions. I suppose he thought I "got" everything that was included in his I go to work everyday.. When I sit and think about it I do. But sometimes we got so caught up in our side of things that we forget this kinda stuff, well I know I do. So when I point my finger at him and tell him he doesn't appreciate me, that he takes me for granted that maybe I should slow down and remember that I too take him for granted at times. What makes me laugh is how I get such an attitude when this "issue" is going on.. cause he does to his attitude just comes out in a different way. Sometimes I can be so stupid.. If we as women don't stop and recognize what our men "DO" do for us, they will get bitter and when that happens boy its along way back.. many never make it back.. Some women need to work on this too. I am not saying showing your significant other love or doing things to show love and appreciation is not vital ,not at all ! What I'm talking about is learning to accept, embrace the love we are shown by our significant other, the way they show it. So there it was. It isn't for anybody in particular except myself  much love {=} I've been working as a temp At the local factory I hope they hire me on full time I've got shoes to buy and a mouth to feed. I drive a buy here, pay here truck It ain't new, but it is for me It ain't much but it fires right up and get me from A to B What puts the dirt underneath my nails What keeps the calluses on my hands Family man They're a world my world revolves around My sacred piece of solid ground The flesh and bone that gives me strength to stand They are a fire in my drivin on The drive behind my comin home The livin, breathin, reason that I am A family man There's dirty shirts to wash Dishes in the sink to do And there's how many times Does 17 go into 52 There's bedtime prayers to pray Sleep tights and I love you's And then there's a pair of eyes I get to lose myself into What keeps me keepin the faith What makes me believe I can Family man They're a world my world revolves around My sacred piece of solid ground The flesh and bone that gives me strength to stand They are a fire in my drivin on The drive behind my comin home The livin, breathin, reason that I am A family man There's a fire in my drivin on The drive behind my comin home The livin, breathin, reason that I am A family man Craig Campbell Thanks to all the men who set up to care for the ones the love no matter if it's working with your hands or sitting behind a desk ! much respect {=} I'm still workin on making bling and when I do I am gonna create some bling of some real men !

exactly  isnt somethin' else how something so simple can touch a man's heart. Mine rarely cries but give him a sentimental card or note and he turns to mush

I know some guys aren't good with those things. My Dad was like that. I don't remember him telling any of us he loved us. But he showed us it through his actions. He went out of his way usually without complaint,  to help any of us out when we needed it.We all take people for granted now and then I think. Things just become routine and we come to expect them.

Yes i know excatly what you mean when they cook us dinner !when they take in the washing from the line !when they clean up after dinner i think every thing they do is an act of love and even make us a cuppa

That's one of those old Venus/Mars pieces of advice. That men demonstrate their love through actions more than words. The actions are generally every day stuff like work, cleaning, working on the yard, the little things that make your world a little easier. It's good you recognize it, not many women do ... and it just adds to their husbands' resentment.
