Blog & Group Bug Fixes and Improvements With feedback from the Live From AFF group, we recently started a project aimed at fixing some of the most common bugs within blogs and groups. This is what it looks like so far: Bugs - Fix photo uploads in blogs to appear instantly. - Allow standard members to view images posted in groups they are a part of - Group moderators have the ability to delete comments left with the 'respond' option Improvements: - Images uploaded to group posts appear as a small thumbnail rather than a larger sized image - Comments in blog and group threads across the site should remain even after a member has deleted/turned - Members of a group (not mods/co-mods) should be provided the option to delete their comment within 15 minutes after posting We hope you're noticing the changes, and we want this to be the beginning of many more improvements to come for blogs and groups on LesbianPersonals. Let us know if you're seeing the fixes, and what other additions you'd like to see in the future! Next-- we're going to be adding the ability to upload multiple images to your posts instead of just one. |

WOW, the team has been busy! I don't understand all the lingo but, I definitely like the idea of adding more than one upload to a post. Awesome!

What about the pagination that comes and goes at the bottom of the blog pages? Sometimes you have to type the page number directly into the http address bar to move to the next page. AB No Bozos

What I would like to see in groups is to be able to select group members and send a focused message. Can group mods delete old posts? If they can't be deleted, can they at least be hidden?

Just fix your shit. I've never seen a site run worse. These promises are nothing more than a reach-around as far as I'm concerned. You either have the talent to run a paying web site or you don't, I know where my betting money is.

Here's another major reason why A F F and its affiliate sites are on their way out: Credit card companies are now declining to accept charges from A F F. In spite of my best intentions, I decided to go ahead and sign up for Gold membership again, only to have not one but TWO credit card companies refuse to allow A F F to charge mymembership fee to those cards. Then later today I got a call from Chase Fraud Division alerting me that a possible fraudulent transaction was attempted using my Chase card. I told them that I was the one who tried to make the charge but to leave it blocked since I used another card to complete the transaction, only to later discover that the other card flagged the A F F charge as well for possible fraud. Fraud at this site must be pretty regular if two major card companies (and most likely several more which I myself don't use) refuse to accept LesbianPersonals/Various Inc. charges. Because of this, I'm still just a Standard member right now. I wonder how many other people come to this site, try to sign up and get a call from their credit card company alerting them to possible fraud? Does anyone think those folks are going to jump through hoops trying to get that charge to go through, or will they just stay standard members while searching for another site which isn't so suspect?

Aryana...I have posted a couple blogs the past few days with pictures attached, and they have never shown up. So if this bug fix has supposedly been deployed, I sure have not seen it in my account.

1. It seems that images attached to blog posts are frequently getting dropped. I often have to go back, edit the post, and resubmit the picture. 2. It looks like the list of "most recent blog posts" is suddenly based on the last comment made. This is pushing some very old posts back into this list and drowning out the new posts. I will try to be as nice as I can possibly be.  Why do I have an indication of 5 people hotlisting me when I only show 2! when I actually open the hotlist link? Why can't your company fix the notifications that your company seems so proud of? They do not work at all! They are showing up in multiple places and can't be killed from one central place. Obnoxious! The posting of photos or pics that takes 2-7 editings of the post is getting really tiring! If you can't fix it, admit it and move on to the next piece of 8th grade computer code!!!! Please give me absolution from at least one of these problems.

You have a big problem going on lately with the video playback. A member's vid will jump from say 3 seconds into the end of the vid. This occurs on 50% of the vids. I have tried watching in different browsers and it persists in all browsers. I hope you are working on it because for Gold prices, I am not getting Gold performance.

Blog launch is too well hidden i have spoken to quite a lot of people who didnt know LesbianPersonals had a blogland ,, they have IM'd me asking where can they find my blog i tell them how to and that blogland is one of the biggest if not the biggest part of LesbianPersonals they are quite shocked i remember on the old version of the site blog was listed on the main menu bar ,, not like now hidden under the community banner ,, it would be nice if LesbianPersonals acknowledged blogland by giving it/us a link as prominent as the one they do to instant messenger ,, the same format box and next to the IM one would be perfect LesbianPersonals how about adding this to your next list of improvements it would be so good for community relations  scarlet is at the end of your rainbow

blog screen widths blogs are viewed via 2 screens,, one shows the posts one upon the the other ,, one shows the post with the comments often its not easy to get the layout to look right for both screen widths which is so annoying cant you unify both screens so that the widths are the same on both versions scarlet is at the end of your rainbow

page navigation numbering page numbering falls short of being helpful on many screens ,, the hardest being the list of past blogs which has over 200 pages on most pages numbering shows 1-10 and only stepping up in 10's whether there are 20 or 200 pages available ,, if the numbering showed 1-20 inclusive ,, then 20 40 60 80 100 ... cont ,, it would make navigation easier if you were viewing a function that has many pages and you had to stopped you would have to start from the beginning again as current numbering doesnt make it easy to pick up were you left off you have changed some screen to next/prev which use to have page numbering ,, which is so annoying ,, so i no longer view more than the first of these pages at all as i hate having to go throu every single page ,, even if its the who viewed me screen which use to have the 1-10 flexibility its not clear where you are or what page your viewing ,, the format of the page numbering doesnt change so you have to count the pages as you go ,, if the page number you were on was underlined bolder or larger you would know quickly what page you were viewing so you could pick up from the same place far easier again only small changes that would make using the site much easier scarlet is at the end of your rainbow

unable to read emails i am unable to read my emails because a blank Activities box obscures them ,, i cant minimize it or turn it off ,, its the box thats part of the Notifications bar function it doesnt have any notifications in it its just a big blank box ,, the only way to make it smaller is to reduce the who window screen size but then the mail is too small for to read ,, so i cant reply to any mails i receive i've tried turning it off and i have tried adjusting the setting ,, which will not save the changes i make either ,, nothing i have tried effects an improvement scarlet is at the end of your rainbow

My group was reported as "Broke" sometime back ~THE CAMPFIRE~, doesnt even show up on my groups list and IM a moderator. I can go through a background and around and reach it. It says "Pending approval" as it has been for awile. Could you just give me an idea if this group will ever work again??? Will SOMEONE TRY TO HELP ME PLEASE??? All I did was add a comoderator and the whole group came crashing down on my head. The less confidence we have in this confidence we have in this place, just makes the other sites look better.

You're whole site is ROYALLY FUCKED UP! >>!...AGAIN! I can't post on blogs...Site will not load on my iPhone....Message center will not work and won't attach pics that ARE in proper format!!! WTF!! Why doesn't some TECH person test this shit out before launching it? All you do is frustrate the masses! You seriously should give everyone 1-6 months free for all the crap you put the paying members through!

They will take your money every month, but they don't listen, and as far as things getting fixed...take it from a long time LesbianPersonals user, it will be months in the doing. However, the vids and pics can be hot to look at lol. Oh, and don't bother calling that new customer service line, I think they outsourced it to God knows where. She read to me from a manual.

The way I find some new bloggers is by monitoring "Actively Watched Blogs" at the top of the blog screen. How are they considered "actively watched" if there has been no new post, by the blogger, for 6 or 8 months? I think it should be run off of CURRENT posts as well as how many people watch the blog. TY. Wet...

When you open up a members photo page, you can't scroll, and can't click on pix, WTF, this is a relatively new frustration, not sure I'll keep paying when the quality keeps going down.

I am not sure where to put this. but I can't move my photos around or delete any or add them. it's become very annoying! called customer service a few times and they never help! in fact he deleted pics I didn't want deleted and when he felt it wasn't something he could fix he hung up on me. and on the blog page where you can look for blogs and blog posts it won't let me..the enter button to click on is gone. please help me fix these things! I thought about upgrading thinking it's because i'm silver but not sure that's why. and I've spoken to other women who had the ice breaker and were given silver all recently were upgraded ..not me! I would love for someone to explain but hate calling customer service as they never help and are frustrating to talk to. I usually get more upset talking to them! ..just join me on my blog bustybettyboop and still looking for some hot,sexy,creative contestants for my next contest...come join us! need a blog mentor or want to be one?
