I am, for all intents and purposes, retired. My living expenses are low, and I do some side jobs as needed to fluff the pot. This week's HNW: Pink/Hearts (Or Chocolate) is available on the other side.

I've not found it too difficult adjusting to retirement. It helped that I stopped loving my job as there was far too much paperwork!

You know Retirement used to be fun when we were able to get out there and help the Seniors at the Senior Social Club. But now having to stay home all the time really sucks. This isn't the way I planned to enjoy retirement. I hope your enjoying yours and may your Friday be a great start to your weekend..

I'm enjoying a life of semi-retirement as I now get to choose interesting & profitable (for me) Hotel projects, long breakfasts watching TV, daytime cinema 2-3 times a week & more live music with long time friends, very good times indeed, good post, thanks for sharing

Thank you for your service, first of all. Its great you are enjoying your retirement. I must say, in my world not being retired has been a sanctuary when i was hit with profound loss back to back starting 11 years ago. Now, being alone and being in a pandemic, going to work is predictable, structured and social. If it werent for work, days would transpire with no human contact, cept for the phone....maybe. Im fortunate, that ive always loved my career.....and would def miss it. People are living longer and need the activities and the funds to support a healthy social/emotional and perhaps lengthy retirement. Mine would be extra lonely without that. Im working on it....lol ~
