Share yourself with me I want you to… Close your eyes and try and think about nothing for 10 seconds. You can continue reading afterwards, but try and keep them closed right now for 10 seconds. Rain drops, not a thunderstorm, but a soft rain. Water… Warm… Wet… Night. Darkness, quiet, perhaps a park or a playground, trees. A row of swing sets, a slide in the near distance, a merry-go-round. An old fashion teeter-totter, the kind that squeaked when you went up and down on it. Those little rocking horses on a spring, rocking forward, backwards, sideways almost falling off trying to touch your head to the ground. Always racing someone, but never moving an inch. What is it your wearing….What is it you are not wearing? Close your eyes. Your wet. Is it from the rain? You are full of energy, is it from your youth? You are not alone in the night, with the rain, around the park. You are not alone. Close your eyes and try and feel the energy. I have shared myself with you. Again and again. I have thought of you often. I want you to share yourself with me. Open yourself to me and let me come inside you. Let me feel you. Let me hear you. Use your words for me, to me. Paint me a picture, paint me your picture. Share yourself with me. Place it here for all to see. Or share it in private for just the two of us to see. Do you think of me with the same passion as I of you? A long stem rose, a fresh strawberry, and a glass of wine. A moment in time. Will you join me? |

You've painted happiness in my joyless soul you've given me a brand new hope to behold. I've often wondered what if, what if I gave it one more chance to love. to cry. to laugh again. Have I chosen with care this time. Will I know love in the rain or again just tears and pain, What If.
