Sorting it all out

Well fellow bloggers it's been a funny old week. As usual there's always some minor glitch to sort out.

I finally sorted out my iPhone 5 which had been driving me demented with error messages. I probably spent a fortune on phone calls, but except for some of my music not syncing, the phone is now working pretty much as it should do.

Then there's the oven. I found out it wasn't working about a week ago and suspected it had been unplugged during my boiler fitting. I was pondering how I was going to sort that out, when a good mate suggested popping around for a pre Xmas drinkie this afternoon.

Before we got too far down a bottle of red, he managed to move the cooker and hold it while I reached in and plugged it back in. Something I would never have been able to do alone! And I didn't even have to pay in sexual favours for the help! hahahahaha! He's just a mate and I don't see him in that way, although I suspect the same is not true for him! But he is a true gent and accepts our friendship for what it is, just that.

Now I only have the Sky On Demand box to sort out but I think my insurance covers that and I can probably get an engineer out in the few days I have off before Xmas.

These last few days have gone so fast and I haven't really had time to digest the time I spent with Geo. He's travelling all over right now and we did manage to exchange a few texts, even though he was right round the other side of the world. He did say he felt a bit worn out and needed this week to recover........ I can't think why?

So in attempt to feel a tad Xmasy, I have put up a tree. I don't really do Xmas. I'm not buying presents or cards this year, but will donate to charity instead. The whole commercial spin turns me right off and leaves me cold. I am looking forward to quite a long break from work though and a chance to spend some quality time at home.

As for Geo, there will be no opportunity for us to meet again until at least January, but time flashes by so fast that will come around soon enough. In the meantime I'll just continue sorting out all the other things that need doing in my home. I'm on a roll now.......

Like you I am not really into xmas now that the kids have grown up. It really is more commercial these days.

I hope you get everything sorted out and that you enjoy your xmas break.
