Sports Being a displaced fan is not always the easiest thing. I basically live in Cleveland, Oh (actually from this area) but I grew up elsewhere. What does that mean. It means I spent the 80's in Illinois around the Chicago area. So that's right, even though my "hometown" (by birth) teams should be the Browns, Cavs, and Indians I am not a fan. Although I will attend their games and root for them, as long as they aren't playing my teams. Which of course are DA Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls and Cubs (yes true Chicagoan root for the Cubbies lol). Whenever my teams are doing poorly (and a Cleveland team isn't) I get a lot of grief. But I will forever be faithful to my teams. I mean who could blame me? I grew up watching Sweetness, Ditka, McMahon, Singletary, Danimal, those defenses were outstanding. Also had a decent almost run with the Cubs, The Blackhawks, I mean who doesn't love hockey. Of course there was the excitement of Jordan being drafted. I was hooked. HUGE Chicago sports fan, will go when I can. Watch or listen to games quite often as well. Although I have to find alternative ways since they aren't local Although I do have a local team I root for. The Monsters (AH Hockey. Hockey is my favorite sport (followed by football) and I love going to the games and just having a blast. So if you want to talk sports sometime, hit me up... Oh and I cannot wait for this NBA free agency to be over. Go somewhere LBJ so I don't have to hear about you anymore lol |

Goddammit, I was JUST in Cleveland a few months ago... with NOBODY to go drink Albino Stout with at Butcher and Brewer!!!!! I'm a one team kinda gal... the FSU Seminoles. Love smack talking with those trashy Gators fans but other than that I tend to cheer for the team with the ball. When it comes to hockey tho, I have to line up with my son, the Bruins fan! But no real personal investment there.
